Born in Haifa, Israel. Naomi is a self-taught artist who found her passion for painting in her late twenties. She moved to the United States with her husband and children in 1989. When her children left home for school, she found herself spending most of her new found free time dancing, playing the piano, or painting. Naomi has a style that is both complementary and unconventional. She works in a variety of mediums and searches for ways to integrate dance, music, and nature into various dynamic images. To supplement her growing passion for limitless knowledge and skills with watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and pencils, Naomi has trained with her beloved teacher Marjorie Gerber Gold and has taken courses at nationally acclaimed institutes such as The Museum of Fine Arts as well as Mass Arts in Boston.
